BOB MCKENZIE

Bob McKenzie is known far and wide as the original TSN Hockey Insider and was one of the most trusted voices in a multi-media career that spanned 45+ years.

Now fully retired, the 69-year-old native of Scarborough, Ont., who currently resides in Kitchener has had a storied career and his plaque as an Elmer Ferguson Award winner for excellence in hockey reporting/writing is on display in the Great Hall of the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.

McKenzie was Editor in Chief of The Hockey News for nine years and Toronto Star hockey columnist for six years before joining TSN full-time in 2000, forging a reputation as a top insider, NHL draft and World Junior Championship expert.

An author of four books, McKenzie is currently on the 18-member selection committee of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
